Welcome to Heikki Valkonen's music demo site!
Currently, the following demos are available:
WaveFormer is an ASP.NET page for normal browsers. It uses my WavSound component
to generate sounds from user-entered partials.
Composer is a mobile ASP.NET page that composes a MIDI ring tone and downloads it
into a mobile phone. It demonstrates the use of my MidiDataSet component. The page
can also be viewed using normal browsers.
At present, the compositional algorithms are quite primitive, and the MIDI files
produced by them sound terrible. Real artistic funtionality will be added soon!
This is a database for my master's thesis. It will contain all codes and formats
relevant to my research plan. The current version is just an early prototype - please
come back later!
